On 05-08 November 2019, the meeting of Working Group 4 (WG4) of COST Action CA OC-2017-1-22010 WECANet "A pan-European Network for Marine Renewable Energy with a focus on Wave Energy" took place at the Maritime University of Szczecin . The meeting concerned plans and development directions of solutions regarding non-technical aspects of the development of sea wave energy converters. Currently, 31 partner countries participate in the COST action.
The 1st Annual Assembly of COST Action CA17105 "A Pan-European Network for Marine Renewable Energy with a Focus on Wave Energy" (WECANet) took place at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on 11-12 February this year.

In the period 20-22.11.2018, the Faculty of Engineering and Economics of Transport organised a course for marina employees and operators. The course was conducted as a part of the project SOUTH COAST BALTIC Establishing durable cross-border boating destination management on the basis of the MARRIAGE cooperation network financed by the Interreg South Baltic Programme 2014–2020, which has been implemented since 2016.
Publications of the employees of the Faculty of Engineering and Economics of Transport in the Web of Science base distinguished with the HIGHLY CITED PAPER title. „Highly Cited Paper” is a list of leading world publications (only1%), which are the best and the most significant for development of a particular scientific discipline.
In the period of 10-14 September 2018, the 5th session of the Sub-Committee on the Carriage of Cargoes and Containers (CCC) was held at the headquarters in London.
In the period 18-28 July, the summer school was held in Aveiro (Portugal). The school was attended by teachers and students of MUS and organised as a part of the ABC - MELES 2.0 project, which is led by our university.
On 27th June, a debate devoted to the problem matter of the safety of unprotected road traffic participants in the West Pomerania Province was held at the Faculty of Engineering and Economics of Transport. The co-organisers of the event were the Chief of the Provincial Police in Szczecin, inspector Jacek Cegieła, and the Rector of the Maritime University of Szczecin, DSc. Eng., Master Mariner Wojciech Ślączka.
On 6th June 2018, students from the specialisation of Yacht Port Operation (3rd Year Transport, Faculty of Engineering and Economics of Transport) had an opportunity to see two other yacht ports in West Pomerania Province.
On 22.05.2018, a meeting of the "Low Carbon Logistics" project stakeholders was held at the Town Hall in Stargard.
On 11.05.2018, a presentation of the Electric Delivery Bicycle and the Electric Car was held as a part of the European Funds Open Days next to the Faculty of Engineering and Economics of Transport of the Maritime University.
On 7th May 2018, 3rd-year students of Transport with specialisation in Yacht Port Operation took part in a study visit to West Pomerania yacht ports.

On 11 April 2018, a guest lecture of Jens Masuch from GA-MA Consulting was delivered at the Faculty of Engineering and Economics of Transport. The lecture referred to the South Coast Baltic project in the South Baltic region and was intended for 3rd-year students of Transport in the specialisation of Yacht Port Operation.
An international project entitled "A Pan-European Network for Marine Renewable Energy with a Focus on Wave Energy", filed as a part of the COST programme, has obtained an approval. This is a networking action connecting over 100 participants from 25 countries.
